Acrylic on canvas 50x60cms. A view from Jegun in the Gers region of France. Staying at a friend’s house last month I finally found a route into painting this subject. I love the swoop of the land seen from high up near the church on top of the hill. I used 2 photos and 2 sketchbook drawings for it back home in the studio.
