Lovely work once again Brian.

Lovely little seen Brian. I know where this is and pass it often, but never thought of painting it. If you are interested it is on the site of an old pottery and just to the left of the huts is an odd shaped tapered chimney which I have always assumed to be what is left of an old kiln. Alan Morris

Really like this Brian, what a story this painting tells!

Based on a couple of photos I took on a break at my sister in law's, with my wife in Poole, Dorset. It's a charming scene with assorted paraphernalia arranged outside and inside these two clapperboard huts. I remember my sister in law only had three watercolours so I worked with those; can't remember what they were but they must have been fairly off-piste versions of the primaries - light red looks like one and yellow ochre/raw sienna another but I can't see what the blue might have been. Painted on a St Cuthbert's Mill bonded Waterford block 15"ish x 11"ish
