Biography
Growing up close to the sea in Devon l learnt to love it in all its moods. I remain inspired by boats and harbours and all things marine. I have also been encouraged by a local professional artist to try different techniques and subjects, and have a growing interest in plein air panting. I strive to portray a sense of place or a moment in time in my paintings. A fleeting sparkle of light or a change in the weather inspire me to try and capture that moment.
