This is a design about to be used on food and drink menu covers (and the basis of a mural I shall be painting) in a celebrated local restaurant. With the owner's approval it has mixed cultural and religious references. Sourcing suitable images and composing them into a workable design in the right ratio took almost as long as the painting itstelf. Raw and burnt umber watercolour, on 200lbs Whatman Not.
