I began sketching the outlines for this pastel painting on sand coloured MiTientes paper when I was sitting in on my stand on the last day of h.Art last September. On New Year's Day I decided to finish it, and I've been working on it in fits and starts over the last few days. It's based one of my own photos taken when we visited St Ives during the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2021.
