I love colour, so playing like this is something I want to do more of.

It works - always a plus in a painting! It's one thing having nice new paints to play with (I'm eyeing this range up myself ) but knowing where to put them is the important thing, and I like what you've done with them.

This view of the cliffs near Combe Martin from one of my own photos was inspired by Barry Freeman's 'Joy of Colour' article in the April 2025 issue of The Artist. I wanted an excuse to play with my new Michael Harding Brickyard Lane oil paints on a leftover page from an 8 x 10 inch canvas pad I've had for ages - an hour and a half of pure joy!
