Inspired by Tennyson's poem "The Brook" and a photo I took last spring on a walk from Newquay in West Wales. Acrylic on a small 8x10 inch sheet from an old canvas pad. My husband and I had been walking downhill through a wood for ages until we came to this stream by a mill in a clearing in the valley bottom.
