Thank you for your kind comments. I love the Isle of Man - but I put off tackling this view for an awful long time. Its the rocks at low tide which make it interesting.

I had a lot of sludgy blue, green and grey oil paint left on my palette from my last "stormy skies" painting, so I decided to use it up tackling this view of Castletown in the Isle of Man from a photo I took on a grey day in 2017. It's only a couple of miles from Ballavell Farm, where we stay when we go to the Island, and my husband and I enjoy going out onto the rocks at low tide for a spot of beachcombing and wildlife watching.
