Beautifully done, with lovely composition, palette and atmosphere.

Love the incorporated textures of paint and the way you have applied them. A wonderful vista ……excellent painting all round Bobbie.

I did a really good plein air oil painting course with Vicki Norman in 2022. You always come away with a lot to think about, and things come together - for me at any rate - when I can incorporate the learning and be true to my own style.

Last Friday was hot and still - so I chose to paint the south easterly view from the little graveyard below the old motte and bailey castle en plein air rather than the old church at Richard's Castle. Oil on canvas board. I had to imagine away the radio masts at nearby Brimfield!
