SOLD This is another piece from last week's Painting Retreat with Vicki Norman at Acton Scott Hall. I painted this view en plein air last Thursday, fighting a stiff breeze which threatened to blow my easel over! The fields in the foreground and middle distance had just been mown for hay, and I could see that the values and colours needed tweaking. I spent another hour on it yesterday, and I'm much happier with the final result.
