Our View - Clee Hill in Springtime
We are so lucky to have Clee Hill on our north-west horizon. Although I've painted en plein air with watercolour, pastels and acrylic before, up to now I've done all my oil painting in my craft room, usually from my own photos and/or sketches I've made on holiday. I decided to give oil painting en plein air a try last weekend - and although lugging my big studio easel outside was a bit of a faff, I really enjoyed 4 hours outside painting our view in the sun on Saturday afternoon.
