Thank you Alan, Graham and Sarah. I love an opportunity to play! My C&G Level 2 Printmaking course will start with design basics including colour theory; then we'll be trying lots of printing techniques - some of which (like monoprinting) I already know well, some I've had a go at and want to do more of (reduction linoprinting and collagraph) and others (like woodcut and etching) I've never tried.

Another monoprint experiment made from the same lot of leftover oil paint. I was trying out the same technique as Sunset 1 but on a different support - this time I used A5 relief printing paper. Although the oil paint resisted the initial watercolour washes as expected, the printing paper didn't work as well as the mountboard at picking up the watercolour and oil pastel overlays.
