Thank you. Making these monoprints is a great way of recycling leftover oil paint. This one left some interesting textures at the bottom where the mountboard stuck!

Abstract monoprint experiment for my City and Guilds Printmaking course. I laid an offcut of white mountboard on left over oil paint on my palette and made a print, which I left to dry for a couple of weeks. I then added watercolour to fill in white background gaps (using the oil paint as a resist) and added some additional detail with oil pastels.
