I like this one best Bobbie. I’ve just had work accepted at the Woodhorn Museum ( formerly the colliery ) where the Pitmen Painters are housed ( for their annual exhibition).

I think this is the better of the two, but both are great pieces of art.

I was looking through some old letters last Saturday night, and came across an envelope with a Coal Not Dole sticker which inspired this reduction linoprint last Sunday. This is print 1/6. My miner is based on a portrait drawing I did last year plus research on the Miners Strike and a look at miners in art (specially work by the Pitmen Painters at Ashington and contemporary artist, Philip Toft).
