I saw the film Conclave starring Ralph Fiennes a couple of weeks ago, and after watching Gareth Reid's Sky Arts Artist of the Year Masterclass on charcoal portraits, I just had to draw him (charcoal and red pastel pencil on A3 cartridge paper). For once, this drawing turned out just how I'd visualised it in my head.
