Having fun is definitely the way to go! I wish I'd had more time on the day - but making additions and amendments now, with hindsight, might spoil the vibe!

SOLD I bought a second hand French/pochade easel ready for a plein air painting retreat last week, and I had a very limited time to try it out the previous weekend. This is the result - an acrylic on canvas study painted in less than 2 hours. The source photo is one of my own taken at St Ives West Beach on August Bank Holiday 2021, when everyone was desperate to be out again after lockdown. It isn't my best piece of work, but I had fun painting it!
