i like this, the colours are great and the perspective is nice.it takes me with it along the road to the houses,, distance is just right, nice one,

Me too likes this although (sorry Mick) not sure about the blue road which takes my eye out of the picture

Thanks for the visits Alan and Michael, I can see your point about the road Michael, but I don't agree, thatat is why the grey distant hedgerow is ther to block exit at the left, and why there is a gap between that and the distant red roofed cottage on the right, the red roof to draw the eye in to the right. It obviously hasn't worked for you, so it may have not worked for others, ah well, you can't win 'em all.

Once more those glorious colours... And a walk on the gentle side.

Painting from some old holiday photos of Suffolk/Notfolk, mainly Suffolk, I think. Rowney soft pastel, Derwent tinted charcoal on Clairefontaine pastelmat, anthracite, original image size, 13"x9".
