Thanks, Gentlemen, for the kind comments. I've painted a few oils since then but this was my first attempt. I was looking at it the other day when a few ideas came to me just by wondering what I would do with it if I was to paint something like this again. Brian

Thanks ever so much, Margaret. I was SO twitchy when I started on my first oil, now one of many. It's all about taking the plunge and enjoying the experience. I needed a drink when I'd finished. *smile* Brian

This is my first first ever oil painting and I still remeber how my hands shook with excitement. I used cheap oils from Wilkinsons Store and really just wanted to have a bash.
