I tend to agree with you Barry, however, treat it as a prelim sketch. It has potential in bucket loads. I'm not so sure about the figure in the foreground, a bit prominent but does need a little something there to address the balance.

Thanks Alan, I think the figure will work if I soften it of as it has too many hard edges. Also think I could lose the figure in blue and put more emphasis on the seated figure.

A sketch to assess the possibility of a larger piece. Would have liked to keep the washes a bit fresher which would have provided more light under the awnings.
