Hope you have a speedy recovery, Barry, and I hope you don't feel too uncomfortable for much longer. Lovely sky, soft and gentle, with some beautifully subtle yellows, reds and blues. The land complements the sky perfectly. Delightful! Bri

Hope you’re soon fully recovered Barry. This is a lovely gentle painting. However frustrating, I think short bursts for painting sometimes helps, or at least gives you a different aspect on your work.

Thank you Brian and Tessa I am hopeful that I will be back to normal soon. I have tickets for Patchings on the Sunday and fingers crossed I will be able to make it and see my successful painting exhibited.

Thank you Val it certainly has a breezy feel. Many thanks Dennis I am lucky that my good friend Steve Hall has offered to drive to Patchings which will help enormously. As I am walking a little extra each day I am feeling quite optimistic.

With my movement a bit limited at the moment as I am recovering from a hernia repair op, I thought I would have a go at the July challenge. I have had to paint it in short sessions as it is still uncomfortable to stand for too long but it was good to get the brushes out again.
