Thanks Barry, I so look forward to your paintings.

Another cracking piece Barry, some good tonal values here.

Thank you Michael so pleased you like my work.

Thank you Alan I think you have hit the nail on the head and it’s the tonal value that makes it work.

Very nice Barry. The wall painted really freely is terrific.

A title I've used myself Alan and a favourite read. You've got the feeling of remote isolation perfectly.

Thank you Brian, Jim and Dennis although a bit on the busy side your comments confirm it’s worked.

Great work as always 👍👍👍

Love this Barry, especially the light and shadows and the spontaneous, freshness of the painting.

Thank you Carole and Linda it’s great when it works!!!

It’s a real gem Barry and beautifully loose , I love the way you tackled those foreground grasses with a bit of splatter , great stuff. I agree it’s great to see our work side by side gave me a nice surprise

Beautiful work quickly and confidently painted, Barry.

Thank you Dermot and Cesare.

Well done Barry, it's very effective and has captured the far from the madding crowd feeling.

Fabulous painting, my favourite style of watercolour, loose but expressive and full of vitality and atmosphere. I just want to walk right up that path!

Thank you Paulette and Kyla I really appreciate your comments.

Another beauty Barry well done.

Cheers thanks Dennis.

Very effective painting, Barry

Thank you Maureen, Robert and Margaret I appreciate your comments.

That’s a glorious watercolour Barry!

Lively, loose style Barry.

Great energetic piece, Barry

Thank you Fiona, Stephen and Thalia. This is the direction I want to go with my watercolours but it’s not always easy to successfully get both freshness and energy into a painting and your comments help so much.

This is lovely.

Still playing around with remote cottages. This was my first effort of several which I feel is my favourite as it was painted quickly which I feel gives the painting energy.
