Both work very well Barry, I think this one just shades it with the stronger toned distant tree.

Hang on Studio Wall

Whilst on a visit to Dedham two weeks ago we had a drive around and found this farm pond near Raydon a village just off the A12. I did a sketch and took some photos and painted this back at the studio. Watercolour on half imperial Saunders Waterford, I am also going to post another version I did a day or so later.
