Glad you like it Gudrun

This is my kind of watercolour Barry.....beautiful use of the medium.

Less is more often when trying to capture the essence of a scene. You've achieved it beautifully here.

Many thanks to you both, by the way Fiona, Steve Hall had a chckle when I mentioned your comment about my Bath painting.

You have put a lot of energy and feeling into this work Barry, works well.

Oh no!! I've never met him but I've spoken to him on the telephone, he seems a lovely chap. I'm a big fan of his watercolour work. I'm waiting for his second book to come out, if he's still going to produce one. I tried to get his last one for a friend of mine as a present....they are like hens teeth, and when I did find one it was over a £100. So if you've got a copy keep hold of it! Needless to say she didn't get one for her birthday!!

Really pleasant and calming!

Although a bit rough around the edges with plenty of mistakes I feel it captures the essence of the scene and have therefore decided to post it. Hope others like it as much as I do.
