I was only thinking of back roads in the Cotswolds (where I used to live) today as I drove down some back roads in Devon! It can get really snowy there. Back in 1981 we were cut off for a week. Charming painting though!

Imaginary or not Anne it’s a super snow scene, I love snow scenes! We woke up to our first fall of snow this morning, only on the hills though.
