A really nice painting Anne with such beautiful trees and portrayed so well.

It’s a lovely painting Anne, the colours look great the distant tree look fine despite your worrying about them. I think we see our mistakes or don’t like bit rather than the whole painting.

Watercolour with a little gouache on Rough watercolour paper. This is an "oldie" using my photo taken on a cold walk around Bolam Lake Country Park, Northumberland. I now feel the distant trees should have been done wet-in-wet so tried fading them a little by blotting out.
