I love those delicate pastel tones in this John. Your pen and watercolour work is neater than mine 😀

Tones together really well.

This is a lovely painting - love the subtle colours!

I'm glad you did include her (does she know she's been immortalised!?). Always great work John.

You always capture the architecture so expertly. I love the addition of the lady with her shopping trolley. The colours are beautiful

Beautifully painted John , you are so skilled at painting the excellent Buckinghamshire scenes.

An absolute delight John! I particularly like how you have painted the reflections of light in the windows and faded out the edges of the painting. Lovely.

Lovely Pen and watercolour John, very detailed and love the fact you included the lady. Brilliant

Wonderful work on those buildings, especially the archway and the reflections on the shop windows. I los love your palette here John.

Beautifully drawn and painted architecture, John!

Fantastic painting, John. Lovely colour palette. You almost want to look in every window.

Such delicate detail, a lovely painting.

Very good detailed work John. I used to think detailed work was too photographic but this is much better than any photo.

Beautifully done John.

Many thanks to all for those comments. I sometimes wish I could loosen up with the penwork Frank, but I'm afraid my style is the result of 40-odd years in mechanical engineering!
