Thank you all for those comments. I'm glad that you like my sketchbooks/diaries.......I began them years ago to make me do one picture per week, now I get through 3 books each year, plus special holiday ones, and the volumes are consuming shelf space!

A village scene which caught my eye yesterday.........I liked the contrasts produced by the bright sunlight streaming through the gateway. This is in grey pen and watercolour and about 5" square.
