Hi Ruth, We have so much throw away stuff thesedays, fun to try and make some of it into art. I have also made a large fruitbowl from paper mache, turned the daily newspaper into something practical, perhaps I'll post that one on here. It might get people interested. This is brilliant too Anni. One question, did you fill in the hole in the centre of the CD or just incorporate it into the design. It's difficult to see on the photo. I'd love to see the paper mache bowl I'm sure that it is amazing too.

Hi Christine, I didn't fill in the hole in the centre...I decided to incorporate it in the design. It is black because the image was scanned instead of being photographed and the background of the scanner is black. You could do whatever suits your design however. Happy painting and creating ~ Anni
