Very awesome painting Annie, cats do have such characters and personalities and flowers are so colourful and splendid :-) you have combined the two excellently.

Lovely composition, I especially like the detail in the curtain :)

Hi Sarah, Funny thing about that curtain. I started panting this picture 10 years ago and had a sample of curtain fabric I was using as a prop. Ten years on I had only painted half of the curtain and the sample of fabric was lost, so I had to reinvent the rest of it. I liked painting all the little leaves and petals.
