It was interesting to compare your painting to Charles' - fascinating to observe two artists' approaches to the same scene. This is a very good painting; strong, but never overstated. Totally different to Charles's painting, but the two complement each other marvellously - I know I've visited this place, some 45 years ago: and I enjoy both your and Charles' interpretation of it.
