Good one Angela

Thank you Heather, I participated in a workshop for ArtAbility a local Art group in our district. Drawing straight off in charcoal was a challenge for me but quite a profound experience as it taught me how charcoal can capture instant expression without using an eraser! We were able to exhibit some of our studies and it was a lovely celebration tonight just before our state enters another 'lockdown'!

A good start, keep developing your face studies.

Oh thank you Alan, Yes, its lovely to draw people in a realistic setting and the more we practice it becomes easier although think its because I am launching out again and gaining confidence. Once one begins then suppose it becomes like second nature of sorts.

This was a study drawing in charcoal at our Art Group. One of my first portrait studies drawing in charcoal.
