'Fox'
This is an illustration I painted a few years ago for the story 'Children from the Claypits' written about the abolition of child labour in England late 1800's and researched from our French ancestors who settled in Arlesey Bedfordshire, where bricks were made from clay. Lord Shaftesbury managed to pass a bill through Parliament to start education for children from poor economic situations and this Fox roamed the Tingley Woods where the children use to spend each day to work at the Claypits' Arlesey 1864!
