A real beauty, Linda. I especially love the negative painting and your great pen-work!

The negative painting is a real standout, love it Linda.

Lovely Linda, like this a lot

Thanks Mia, Katy and Heather, I wasn't sure how much pen detail to put in with this one, so left it to focus more on the negative.

It excellent Linda, I like hoe the washes have blended , it does not need anything else doing to it.

Very effective, Linda - like the way it fades out.

Great pen work, really nice colors and the negative painting has worked a treat, the subject really lends itself to this Linda, nice one.

Love this Linda especially the negative painting

The negative is excellent as is all of this pen / wash painting.

Great format and I really like the negative painted areas in the trees. I love the vignette finish too

Simple strikes again, and wins. Charming.

Beautiful negative painting and I love the cameo effect Linda.

Just love this, Linda, especially - as others have commented - the negative painting . Your pen and wash work is beautifully done.

The experimenting is definitely paying off.

Paul, Maureen, Malcom, Hillary, Richard, Diana, Jim, Carole, Jenny and Dawn, think I've got you all!! many thanks to you all for taking the time to take a look and comment, always appreciated. Linda

Love the negative painting Linda.....I can’t do that, it so frustrating because it adds another dimension to your painting. Makes you look deeper. It’s like reversing....lol.

Thanks Fiona, what I did with this was to paint my sky quite dark then got my brush and took as much water out as I could then made my tree branch marks where I wanted them and then darkened the areas off in between the branches.

Just love this Linda

Gillian and Carolyn, thank you so much.

Great experimentation Linda.
