Thanks, Sarah. I nearly lightened the shadows but it would have detracted from the late in the day light in the sky.

'Retirement in the sun'. I rather enjoyed creating this scene. The boat is mainly a real one I saw in Portugal a couple of weeks ago but it needed to be given a much better scene in which to rest happily! Three days of sun in Lisbon this month, a place so wonderfully vibrant for both young and old, prompted the title of this painting.
