Trying to paint this in the summer 2023 heatwave has been extremely difficult. I had planned to do it with a knife in a contemporary way but the heat affected the paint and made it too runny and layers became very thin indeed. Acrylic, 25 x 20 cm. Inspired by lilies seen on holiday in NW Scotland in 2021 when I first caught Covid!
