Maybe the colours aren't quite right but I like the scene and the perspective nevertheless

I totally agree Heather, it was my first attempt at grayscale, I’ll have another go with maybe pen and wash and repost,

Thank you Jenny, I’d be more adept with Gouache or oils but cannot resist the unpredictability of watercolour. I generally complete the drawing stage with a measure of success only to fall at the second wash of watercolour.

Maybe you are not happy with the colours Alan, but for what it’s for worth it worth I think they adds great atmosphere to the painting.

I think this really works, it's very effective.
