This is a beautiful painting, the detailing on the boats is excellent. The lovely bright colours really make this stand out , yet it is not over done .

Thank you Alan,David, Heather and Paul for your kind comments, yes, a lot to look at not sure what I would choose as a focal point, I’m told the local fishermen don’t wear oilskins these days but it is present for a former resident whom I’m sure will remember

Thank you Karen, I think I’m finally getting it with watercolour skies as I usually get the timing wrong, we lived in the Vale of Glamorgan for twenty years so know your subject locations well especially the Heritage coast line from Llantwit to Southerndown
