Lovely use of watercolours Alan. This is what I'd like to paint like! What brands of paper and watercolours do you use?

Thank you Val, I keep a stock of Fabriano Artistico rough and Two Rivers but rarely get around to using them, I’ve got so used to Arches rough I use it for most work including this one, I was informed a long time ago to stick to one type and get to know it well, the same for watercolour I always use W&N artist quality although been a sucker for art materials I bought a couple of Danial Smith but again rarely use them, I try to make it look loose but I’m not a fast painter and have to plan my paintings well to avoid over painting and keep them fresh looking, hope you’re well and all the best wishes

Thanks for the info on the materials Alan. I think Arches Rough could be on my Christmas wishlist now.
