Very good loose pen and wash, I like the way you’ve included a person for scale.

That is very effective, Alan.

Excellent sketch Alan , all the necessary details are there without it being overdone.

I agree with Andrew, good one Alan

Always like boat pictures, and this is excellent.

Super sketch Alan.

You do these so well. Just great.

It's a lovely style that captures the sea-worn aging if the craft -love it

I really like this, the colour touches are perfect !!

Wonderfully done. I went on holiday once to a beautiful place where they had converted a boat onto a little b&b, i tried to capture it by drawing it, my angles were all off boats are harder than they look. This is brilliant 👏

A challenge well met, Alan!

Love these old Trawler boats and you sketches it admirably in pen/ink with fine line for the masts and wash , whatever angle you approached it turned out really well!

I’m impressed with the way you have suggested the background with such economy, yet the feeling of space is spot on. A lovely piece.

Yet another trawler, but I make no apologies, because I’m trying to get to grips with the various angles and shapes, and it takes practice! I’m some way off achieving my goal, but I’m enjoying the challenge… pen & wash in a Stillman & Birn sketchbook. I like this particular angle, I’ll give it another go shortly.
