A lovely sketch Alan, from memory too! Impressive!

One of your best, Alan!

Brilliant! I’m impressed that you can draw a scene so well from memory.

Thanks guys… from memory but absolutely no accuracy… that’s secondary for me unless I’m working on a commission, then it’s a different scenario…

I like the elongated format too, works very well

Super sketch Alan, tonally excellent, as always.

Lovely composition, and just enough detail to make it interesting.

Another great sketch Alan!

Superb sketching as always Alan

Like the effect of ink and the freedom.

Oh beautiful composition always 😍 lovely

It’s superb Alan , so much of a story with so few lines to tell it , it would take several pages to write an essay describing it .

Lots of interesting elements so well captured.

Super sketch Alan.

A lovely composition. I feel like I’m there!

Another goodie, Alan.

Superb sketch Alan, and elongated design too!

Really good sketching.

Just superb more so done from memory, takes a lot of experience to to do something from memory! Really like this one a lot and would love to see a finished painting of this subject.👍👍

So well recreated with a minimum of strokes that say such a lot. Superb Alan. I like this format too

Beautiful and inspiring. This really holds my attention.

I too love your elongated format.

Absolutely brilliant

A superb sketch- you make it look effortless Alan.

Lovely, Alan.

Mainly from memory, my sketch for today in my Strathmore toned grey sketchbook. I’ve opted to use a double page for this one, I love this elongated format. Pen and marker pens.
