Love your use of tones in this atmospheric painting Alan

Very good, I always find something new to learn in your sketches.

I know this scene well and it's a lovely watercolour Alan

You are really good at getting the details that count in your work Alan a superb example.

Another beautiful piece of work,

Thanks guys… it’s all about distilling the scene for me, picking out the most important parts to create a balanced composition.

Great impact with so few marks, Alan!

Nice one Al!

Just re-reading your Architecture article in TA Alan. This is superb.

How you can convey so much information, with such economical brush strokes, amazes me Alan.

Excellent work, Alan, you always have a good sense of distance.

Beautiful 😍

Beautifully composed and course the tones are great as the others have said.

In the 1970’s I lived on one side of the bridge and walked over it to work on the other side for a while, so this is very reminiscent of my youth. Beautifully depicted.

Another excellent sketch Alan.

Excellent as always Alan.

Really like these ones on toned paper Alan.

Another well balanced piece Good use of color
