I particularly liked the silhouette of the buildings against the lighter backdrop of the sea!

So very expressive Alan and a great sense of space.

So good Alan yet so little to it , simplicity at its best .

Good sketch, a fine example of ‘less is more’.

Simple and brilliant.

Simply very effective Alan.

Lovely, Alan!

This is lovely work, Alan. A good command of tonal values especially within the middle distance.

Lovely, Alan, and yes, it would work up beautifully!

Less is definitely more here, Alan. I love the different tones.

Very striking and original Alan.

Love the light sea, indicative of looking south on the Devon Coastline. Well captured Alan!

Perfect in its simplicity Alan
