The Marina at Moraira - Plein air sketch.

This is the last ink sketch I'll be posting from Spain, thanks for all the super comments. I've done a couple of dozen in the three or so weeks that I've been here, but back to UK at the weekend. I'll finish off in the morning with a fairly large plein air oil sketch which I hope you will like. I've taken photo's a various stages, so it may well make a WIP for a later e-newsletter feature, that depends on Dawn of course.

This is the far end of the marina, and a place that I always enjoy walking round on my trips here. The pontoons float with the tide, hence the upward slope in the drawing, it looks strange! Further round to the right is a dry dock with a huge crane gantry to lift out the yachts, where repairs and general maintenance are made to them. Lots of opportunities here for painting and sketching of course. Indigo acrylic ink on A4 Strathmore Tan paper.
