Nice one Alan, I like the soft colours.

brilliant overall atmospheric quality of light Alan lovely

I think it works great Alan

Judged just on the basis of the colours used, it works - I'm not too ecstatic about that slab of Ultramarine in the sky, but then I put a finger over it and it changes the whole picture, so I understand why it's there. It's interesting - and I could look at this for a long while: in fact - I have!

I think it is successful, Alan, I like much the sky and the sparklinf light in the water.

Lovely work once again Alan.

A new day gently dawns Alan and your painting conveys this so well. Lovely palette and sparkle on the sea.

Nice work Alan brings back happy memories

Wish my paintings were this unsuccessful.....unlike Robert, I like the slab of blue in the sky.

So atmospheric . The colour of the beach compliments the turquoise of the sea beautifully.

It works for me Alan, lovely soft colours again.

Thank you all for your generous comments, I think it was one of my poorest efforts for some time but the photo hasn't helped with the colour.

I like the glowing sky in the distance. I think it's going to turn out nice again. The colours all work well together.

A lovely scene Alan and lovely soft colours

Oil on board 10 x 20in. I found a little watercolour sketch in one of my sketch pads, I think it was Polperro but not sure, anyway, this oil version was not a great success but I've decided to post it anyway.
