Definitely Alan another beautiful combination showcasing your amazing talent

I really love this last series of paintings Alan, beautiful.

Lovely Alan

Beautifully drawn Alan. Strong yet also sensitive.

Good addition to the series Alan, I like the contrast between the painted areas and the dark ink of the tree.

Are you going to publish this series in book form? Perhaps in association with the NT. I thought I would do something similar a while ago, but didn't get the idea off the ground. I'm sure they would sell!

Another wonderful painting, Alan!

Great subject Alan and a super composition , do you go in with the pen first or do you do a bare bones sketch in pencil first ?

Thanks everyone yet again, Dermot, I have answered your question on your latest post, Linda, thank you but no plans for anything of that nature, maybe if I was younger!.

Packed with info but still maintaining that beautiful loose quality Alan.

To exist but not transmit feelings of the author. In a way it pretends to be a work that exists independently of reality, carrying the meaning of the abstract. I want to recommend my favorite artists Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Frida Kahlo, Roberto Matta Gabino amaya cacho and Pablo Picasso.

So subtle. Love the colours and the contrasts.

Continuing my local places of interest theme these are perhaps not your typical stables, enter through the arch and it opens up into a large courtyard surrounded by more buildings and housing the stables, living quarters for the stable hands are above. Wonderful Jacobean architecture which has been kept original, a wealth of sketching to be had on a good day.
