Thanks Alan, have seen the WIP on the forum, now just need to get some suitable ink and have a go! (Would the inks used for lino cuts be any good?)

Thanks Jenny and Gudrun, any ink is fine really Jenny, give it a try...

Do go the forum and read Alan's post there - it's absolutely fascinating. I love the contrasts in this, it adds so much structure and impact - and those gorgeous deep blues... slurp!

Thank your Robert, glad you found it interesting. You can start with much more simple subjects of course, it may have been Gudrun who did some a while ago using foliage, or was it someone else?. Whatever you choose to use the main thing is to enjoy it and be creative.

Great stuff Alan....I'm off to the forum!

If only my brain worked lovely Alan

Really dramatic Alan. Love the colours. Will be visiting the Forum a little later and look forward to reading about this. Thank you for putting it on for all of us who are interested.

I think Seok did some. I have not ventured to printing thus far!

I have just completed this little demo as a WIP as a few of you expressed an interest in learning a bit more about the process, so you can read 'how to do it' in simple and understandable language, I hope by going into the forum section, I do hope that one or two of you will find it helpful and will perhaps have a go at it in the future. I hope that you enjoy reading it.
