A superb and fascinating painting, Alan. It's all been said by others! I don't seem to be able to get that richness of colour and creaminess with my acrylics.

Thank you all for your comments, and Lionel, I actually painted it in oils, using only white spirit, no fancy liquids, why not give oils a try!
