Working well and loving it and don't it show wonderful Alan

Captured the gloomy weather, and really like the white silhouette of the tree. Really expressive and impressive.

Alan I think you&#39;ve cracked the brown paper problem, this is the way to go with it, what do you think? Even though you have left quite a bit of the paper untouched, it&#39;s got fabulous depth to it especially where the sky meets the ground.<br />I don&#39;t suppose any of that makes any sense!lol Anyway, I really like it.

A glory of mark making - quite outstanding.

Ooh stormy looking, great marks with the pastel too Alan.

A rough night in Notts but with so much skill in the medium, this stands out.

Fiona always makes sense and has the ability sum up things very eloquently. So I concur!

Superb atmospheric painting, Alan.

Yes, very stormy looking Alan...love that white tree silhouette too...really stands out against that menacing looking sky.

Small tributary of the Trent, with a bridge used only by cattle, painted this afternoon en-plein-air. Watercolour and some pastel pencil in the foreground on Turner Nocturne paper, 11 x 15''.
