Very nice Alan a powerful painting in your own wonderful style .

Beautiful Alan :)

It's a wonderful and very powerful painting Alan, I love the way you handle the paint without it getting muddy. Superb!

I love this one Alan - you have developed a great style. I really like the textural quality of these paintings and the colours and wonderfully dramatic. Super stuff!

This series of paintings has really shown what presence your work has, powerful reminders of a place and time forgotten, mostly. Even in a subject such as this your eye for detail, as in the counter change of tones stands out for me. I look forward to the next in the series.

Agree Alan another world is created with ecellent content and control and imagination

A brilliant piece, so echoes the past, awakening memories of travel through the potteries so many years ago. Wonderful.

Your collection will exude a blast of industrial heat!

Almost verging on the abstract - a great painting but then so are all of yours.

Very nice painting....wonderful colours

Another great addition to the series Alan!

Thank you everybody, this is probably the last of the pot kilns, I have two factory floor steel and foundry works completed and now working on the mining industry in the Potteries which has also disappeared of course.

Great painting of the Potteries Alan.

It's a vision of Hell you're creating with these - so oppressive, so polluted, and no escape from it for those living beneath this foul smoke and having to work in the industry. This was life for so many, and the foundation of the economy at the time - it must have been unendurable: but people endured it.

This is real painting.

Thank you Carole and also Robert for your constructive observations and comments.

Superb work Alan. Love the vibrant colours, and textures created .The composition is very imaginative.

A powerful piece, Alan. Excellent use of textures and shapes, with superb brushwork.
