You keep coming up with some interesting subjects Adele, simple and with a rather bold style which I do like to see.

Lovely Adele. Almost 3D like.

Some lovely colours and tones Adele.

Good textures too Adele. I see you don't get slugs on your hosta!

Lovely Adele ;)

Great leaves

I like the way you've painted the gravel the pot is sitting on, a lovely piece of work Adele.

Thanks everyone for the great comments. I do seem to go for BOLD. Carole, you are wrong - we have lots of Hostas and unfortunately lots of slugs - ugh! It is a constant battle.

The hosta looks terrific,, love gravel. The whole composition is really interesting, I wouldn't say simple, lots to view in this. Excellent.

This shows how much you have advanced Adele. Wish I still had some of my early pieces.

Thank you Andre and John.

I love the unusual composition in this Adele. The main objects are smack in the middle but somehow it works. It's probably the nice spread of the rose bush which looks mysterious against the dark background.

Well at least you can paint the hosta without holes Adele! 😊

Thanks Satu and Carole. Yes I just might have to paint a Hosta with some nibble marks in, got plenty to choose from!!

An eye catcher Adele.

Thank you Sarah.
